We're delighted to be supporting our client, a leading Scottish based Accountancy Firm, to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.


Our client has an exceptional client base of entrepreneurs to public sector bodies, charities and International corporations and are now looking to grow their Corporate Finance function.


Position reports to
Corporate Finance Manager/Partner


Location
Central Belt, with travel to Edinburgh and/or Glasgow


Salary
Up to £35,000 depending on experience


Role Purpose

Working as part of the Corporate Finance Team, you will support the Corporate Finance Manager and Partner in delivering high quality advice to clients.


The Corporate Finance Team provides advice on all aspects of corporate financing, to include due diligence, Mergers and Acquisitions and fund-raising support.


Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support and advice to clients, including reporting
  • Manage all end to end disposal and acquisition engagements
  • Preparation of financial models, valuations, business plans and other advisory projects
  • Prepare all financial due diligence reports for review
  • Act as main point of contact for all clients
  • Work as part of a team to develop the business, finding areas to generate revenue
  • Assist in the ongoing development of departmental procedures and processes

Key skills

  • A graduate or part qualified CA/ACCA
  • A strong interest in Corporate Finance, no experience required
  • Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of financial modelling
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships internally and externally
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Experienced IT user
  • Effective time management with the ability to organise and delegate work efficiently to deliver on time and in budget
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise own working if a fast paced environment
  • Highly motivated, with excellent problemsolving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to change

This is a full-time, permanent role working between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
