Head of Sustainability Sales
As one of the UK's most trusted energy consultancies, GEAB provides support to businesses throughout the UK and USA.


As the Head of Sustainability Sales, you will be a valuable member of the I&C operational team, which is the most eminent sales team within our sector and one of the most innovative, dynamic, and fast-growing within the business.


Your role as the Head of Sustainability Sales entails managing commercial engagement with multinational organisations whilst being part of a team that is solution driven for clients and thrives on challenging targets.


Your responsibilities:


  • Developing and deploying Energy/Carbon/Tech Sustainability solutions.
  • Developing and implementing a consultative strategy with our customers by recognising and articulating appropriate approaches to address the client's needs, and communicating in a way that differentiates us from the competition.
  • Expert knowledge of sustainability and areas such as; Net Zero, ESOS and associated key profit drivers, sustainability and climaterelated strategy (from inception to completion) and purchasing frameworks.
  • Focusing on business development to generate business leads, develop a pipeline, and determine the scope of complex and bold strategic Sustainability solutions with a clear understanding of profit and loss.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders across the business to execute customer solutions including the Head of Risk, Head of Trading and Key Accounts Director.
  • Supporting the development and execution of company strategy within the management team.
  • Willingness to undertake national and international travel within the EU/USA.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • A desire to outperform targets and be best in class.
  • A proven track record in a targeted sales environment, demonstrating previous experience in a consultative selling and services industry (sustainability, efficiency, renewables and/or energy strategy).
  • A strong proven track record of developing large accounts, to grow and expand business opportunities.
  • Several years of experience working in the sustainability consulting space with a focus towards large energyusing segments. Knowledge of the key drivers specifically in sustainability & legislation is essential.
  • Experience working at a senior executive level.
