Barker Munro Insurance Recruitment is pleased to be offering this fantastic opportunity with one of Surrey's most prestigious independent insurance brokers, working as an Insurance Broker in their well-established team


As an Insurance Broker, you will manage an existing portfolio of clients dealing with insurance issues relating to changes in their requirements and renewals and will also develop relationships in order to cross sell additional cover when needed.

You will offer excellent customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients, insurers and brokers and will get involved in projects such as product development and will offer expertise and ideas to make sure that these are successful.


To be considered for the position of Insurance Broker, you will ideally be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of working in a busy commercial Insurance or Personal Lines Insurance broking environment within the UK insurance industry.

If you have worked in this environment, ideally you will be able to show a working knowledge of general classes of commercial lines business such as commercial combined, liability, motor, excess layers and D&O.

If within the Personal Lines Markets, you will have knowledge of UK Motor or Home insurance.


Alternatively, there will be consideration given to someone with little or no insurance knowledge who is looking to gain a foothold in the UK insurance Market as a Trainee insurance broker With this in mind, you will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a professional office capacity, ideally within a regulated environment, but this isn't essential.


The role offers hybrid working with 2-3 days Working From Home (WFH) per week but there may be a need to be in the office more to start with to get up to speed with the business and how it works.
