- Providing detailed and precise quotes for bespoke joinery items based on drawings, specifications, and client briefs
- Conducting site surveys, obtaining accurate measurements, and creating plans for the design team
- Collaborating with the team on tender submissions
- Maintaining clear communication with clients to balance expectations and practicalities
- Offering value engineering solutions based on design requirements
- Reviewing supplier quotations and subcontractor offers
- Managing material orders and necessary services procurement
- Negotiating final terms, tracking project changes, and handling accounts
- Enhancing process efficiency from inquiry to proposal submission
- Verifying drawings for accuracy, potential cost savings, and compliance
- Participating in production and site meetings, ensuring task completion
- Issuing production instructions and monitoring expenses
- Prior experience in commercial fit-out, woodworking, or joinery
- Understanding of joinery industry practices in estimating roles
- Knowledge of joinery construction techniques
- Familiarity with subcontract suppliers
- Ability to handle multiple tenders and quotations concurrently
- Flexibility to travel within the UK for site visits (CSCS card advantageous)
- Proactive and adaptable approach with strong prioritization skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Strong customer service ethos
- Familiarity with CAD software (drawing skills a plus)
