- To contribute to the development and adaptation of curriculum materials, ensuring they meet the needs of learners.
- To have good knowledge of the New Curriculum for Wales and support the implementation of lesson plans.
- Lead small group activities or provide one-to-one support to students, assisting with their learning.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive environment.
- Work closely with the class teachers, offering input and support in planning and delivering lessons.
- Collaborate on the development and implementation of differentiated learning strategies.
- Provide additional support to students with special educational needs, including those with individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Assist in assessing and monitoring students' progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils.
- Has an Enhanced DBS on the update service (don't worry if not, we can help with this)
- Has Level 3 or HLTA status
- Has experience as a TA/HLTA within a school environment
- Can commute to Lewisham
- The relevant Level 3 qualification
- Have a good understanding of child development and learning processes
- Knowledge of the relevant policies and legislation (safeguarding, inclusion, diversity and inclusion).
- Experience working with children in a learning environment
- Proficient in ICT to support learning
