Role overview:
As a disability Assessor, you will leverage your expertise as a clinical professional to assess individuals with disabilities and illnesses applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP). Your role involves listening attentively to their narratives, posing relevant questions, and utilizing your insights to evaluate how their disability or health condition impacts their daily life. Your detailed reports will assist the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining their eligibility for benefits.
Efficient management of caseloads is supported, allowing you to dedicate ample time to each consultation. This position does not entail extended work hours, night shifts, or tasks outside work hours. Presently, telephone assessments with claimants are being conducted.
