- To maintain control of stock of IT equipment
- Image/build desktops/laptops ready for use
- Prepare equipment to be dispatched to sites when needed
- Log support tickets in accordance with our IT support processes and maintain documentation
- Provide customer service focussed technical support (deskside/over the phone/remotely) to our end users
- Escalate more complex support issues to the relevant member of the IT team
- Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
- Basic administration of telephony systems

We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated individual with a desire to gain experience in IT Support. Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, you will be joining a team that is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's IT systems and for providing efficient IT support to all business users.
The IT Team is responsible for resolving any IT related issues quickly and efficiently. This can be a broad range of queries from basic user administration, password resets and help requests, to motor manufacturer driven IT projects. The IT Apprentice will play a key role within the team, preparing equipment to be used throughout the group and providing some 1st line support for many of our users when reporting IT issues.
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable skills and experience to then further their career within the IT Team. You will be joining at a time where you have the opportunity to be instrumental in delivering a vision for the improvement of IT systems and practices of the whole business.
