- Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of remote wired/wireless network connectivity for Kraken's Gateways, focusing on international variants.
- Standardize network estate configurations, hardware updates, monitoring strategies, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure network security and compliance meet industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering team on networking strategies and customer requirements.
- Recommend and implement network upgrades and enhancements.
- Experience with remote IoT/edge network hardware and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security technologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving mindset.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK.
- Previous experience in the energy industry or industrial control.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and relevant certifications like CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP.
- Worked in the Internet of Things domain.
