Position Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics & Lab Operative to join us.

You will take responsibility for supporting all logistics activities on-site, and also provide some support in the laboratory, and we are offering this role on a full time,permanent basis.

Can you effectively juggle your time between supporting scientists in laboratory and coordinate operations in warehouse? Do you have experience in warehousing/ stores/ laboratory environment? Would you like to work at industry leading business?

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Receive and process stock deliveries, ensuring storage in the correct locations, at correct temperatures
  • Support the shipping of finished goods out to the end user
  • Monitoring stock consumption including sterile and nonsterile consumables, replenishing stock base, using a SAPbased system
  • Regular glassware and plastics collection, washing and, sterilisation for the scientists to use within the laboratories
  • Preparations of media and reagents for scientists to use

Experience Required

  • Experience working in a warehousing or stores environment
  • Demonstrable experience with stock/materials handling activities
  • Proficient in various IT systems particularly Microsoft Excel and SAP or similar stock management system experience
  • Proven excellent customer service focus and ability to work collaboratively
