We are looking for a worker who has procurement experience, that is an organised, meticulous & personable individual with good Microsoft office skills to work within the office of our busy fabrication business.


Working 40 hrs / week over 5 days you will assist with procurement of materials, ordering and maintaining stock levels, working with suppliers, general administration tasks, supporting the quality manager, production manager, sales & production teams in their day to day duties.

Ensuring records are maintained to both ISO & CE standards.

Whilst providing on-going customer support your role will include, but not be limited to;

  • Procurement
- ordering and maintaining stock levels
- working with suppliers to obtain the best price/ service

  • Answering the telephone
  • Scanning
  • Compiling, checking & handing over paperwork to production
  • Booking deliveries / collections
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Dealing with supplier invoices
  • Logging supplier test certificates ( & chasing up when missing)
  • Logging timesheets / holiday & sickness forms
  • Keeping personnel files up to date
  • Data inputting.

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£11.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sheffield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
