BTPs, CCTs, BOTs as products. Previous experience on the short end of the BTP curve could be positively considered.At least 2 years of previous experience.
Strong quantitative skills (needed for curve analysis, risk management, value spotting and hedging).
Previous experience in interacting with the Italian Treasury would be valuable.
Languages:
Fluent in English is mandatory.
Italian would be positively considered.

Overview
The BTP secondary market is among the three largest and most liquid in Europe.
BBVA became a PD in 2022 and the Italian Primary Dealership is key in BBVA's government bonds strategy.
On top of the market making and quoting capabilities, we need a trader able to handle risk given that the volumes traded on the BTP secondary market are among the largest in the world bond markets.
We do need an experienced hiring. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.The successful candidate will have principal responsibilities comprising the following:
BTPs market making in interdealer, customer platforms and OTC channels.
P&L generation according to budgetary exercise within risk limits and internal conduct rules.
Service to clients ( comments, axes, visits...).
