Job summary
We are looking for proactive, enthusiastic Clinical Pharmacist tojoin the PCN, on a permanent full/part time contract.
You will need to work well in a team and have excellentcommunication skills in written and spoken English.
You will be expected to demonstrate a level of leadershipand be involved in the development of the role.
You must be able to prioritise your work and performefficiently without constant supervision and have at least one years postregistration experience.
Applications from candidates with either communitypharmacy or secondary care experience are welcome.
Education and supervision are provided to all teammembers by a senior pharmacist and a GP.
Enrolment in the 18-month CPPE Pathway is expected forall pharmacists. However, pharmacists with relevant experience may be eligiblefor exemptions to certain modules of the pathway.

Main duties of the job
Our Clinical Pharmacists enjoy a varied role that include daily pharmacist clinics with face to face and telephone appointments. The Pharmacy team provide support with long-term condition management and perform structured medication reviews. Once in post, pharmacists will also work closely with our pharmacy technicians on prescribing improvements such as audits, quality initiatives and the development of relevant policies.
The network Board is committed to the development of theteam and want to see it expand and develop their roles. Pharmacy are regardedas an essential team by all the practices. To underline the Board's commitmentto the team, we are provided with ring-fenced GP supervision time every twoweeks.
