- Events or marketing related degree – 2:1 or above
- 2-3 years events or events marketing experience, ideally b2b
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple events of different sizes and durations
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of running an event including trade shows, round tables, evening drinks, webinars
- Ability to build effective relationships with sales, wider business, suppliers and clients
- Can do attitude and positive mindset
- Experience of working in the renewable energy or education sector would be a bonus, as would a genuine interest in sustainability and environmental issues

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and incredibly organised events specialist to join a sustainability consultancy enabling organisations to achieve NetZero.
As part of their successful marketing strategy, events of all shape and sizes are an important tool to reaching those organisations and it will be the Marketing and Events Co-ordinator who manages these events from start to finish.
Working as part of an inspirational marketing team of three, you will be well versed in events and event marketing and perhaps be looking to take on more events responsibility to elevate and progress your career.
Working as Marketing and Events Co-ordinator
Having already gained 2-3 years of events experience, this role will draw upon your experience of everything that goes with pre-event planning, from liaising with the sales team for their input and ideas, through to speaking with suppliers and managing spend. You'll be comfortable with on-site event management as the event happens and all of the post-event logistics and event evaluation.
In additional you'll have the opportunity to shape and deliver the marketing around the event, whether that be social media, event invites, internal communications or website content.
Skills and Experience
We are looking to hear from event and marketing professionals with experience that really lends itself to this role. You'll demonstrate experience where you have taken ownership of some or all of the below all whilst applying a positive, problem-solving approach.
