Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is recruiting an
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - 20 HOURS PER WEEK, afternoons only MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT (possibility of becoming permanent) for the office in Glasgow.

This role will help to provide an efficient financial processing capability within the organisation and support the Finance team.

What will I do?

Review and approve Purchase Orders and employee expense claims
Process supplier invoices
Reconcile supplier statements
Raise customer sales invoices
Undertake weekly supplier payment runs
Chase outstanding balances and ensure payment of invoices
Process credit card transactions
Prepare monthend journals
Open and amend supplier and customer accounts

What are we looking for?

Experience in a similar role, dealing with a high volume of invoices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook
Attention to detail
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise
Team player able to work across all levels of the business

Salary up to £25k FTE (around £13,400 prorated), dependant on experience
