Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Chef to join the fantastic team at Leuchars station , Leuchars St Andrews Fife KY160JX.

This is an exciting, permanent opportunity to develop your skills and explore your passions for food. This role is £11.44 an hour on a 35 hour contract, 5 over 7 so weekend work will be required. Free Parking is Provided at this site.

A day in the life of a Chef:

• Take ownership and accountability of all operational food management; production and service from the one main kitchen
  
• Develop good commercial relationships with suppliers, ensuring receipt of service and quality levels required to obtain the highest financial return
  
• Ensure all daily paper / computer work is complete and that inventories and reports are completed correctly and at the right time
  
• All compliance and health & safety
  
• Be accountable for the management and delivery of budget food subsidy, including GP & labour costs
  
• Manage all casual labour including porters and ensure all food and labour costs are in line with budget and business needs
  
• Be accountable for stock flow and rotation of product within the unit
  
• Ensure a consistent high standard of hospitality offer
  
  You'll be set up for success if you have:
  • Experience operating as a Chef
    
  • Organised with a hands on ability and strong work ethic
    
  • Must have a level 2 catering & food safety
    
  • Passion for people and food
    
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
    
  • Great team player but able to work on your own initiative
