We are looking for a Project Environmental Geoscientist in the Grangemouth area.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in an exciting and challenging environment where new and unusual projects are the norm.
Duties of a Project Environmental GeoscientistSupporting senior staff to manage project deliverables and budgets.
Completing siteworks on a wide variety of sites to carry out surveys, site walkovers, supervise contractors, collect soil, groundwater, gas, and vapour samples, and air monitoring.
Soil logging to current UK standards, including laboratory scheduling.Preparation of factual reports, Phase 1 desk studies, waste classifications, environmental risk assessments, and input into interpretative reporting.
The production of risk assessments and method statements.
Skills and experience of a Project Environmental Geoscientist
As a Project Environmental Geoscientist, you need have experience with:
Degree in Environmental Geoscience, Geology, or a related subject.
Competent with Microsoft Office.
Good written and spoken English.
Working towards or a member of a Geoscience professional body, such
CSCS Card holder (desirable but not essential – training can be supplied
A full UK driving licence is essential.
