The Internal and Change Communications team plays a key role in supporting the achievement of the University's strategic priorities and continued success.

This role will initially focus on developing and delivering an internal engagement strategy within our Estates and Facilities Directorate.

You will work hand in hand with the team to understand this important sector of our community and deliver communication and engagement that support the effective and successful delivery of the Estates and Facilities directorate action plans.


You will also create innovative communications plans and be responsible for the design and delivery of multi-channel communications to engage with staff across a range of Estates and Facilities projects, shaping and delivering consistent and coordinated messaging to a diverse range of audiences from colleagues through to students, and even external audiences.


You will build close professional relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure a proactive approach to strategic communications and engagement.

You should be an experienced communicator with a passion for employee engagement and an understanding of external communications.

You will have experience of delivering campaigns, building regular communication channels as well as an awareness of issues and crisis communications planning and preparation.


With a fresh innovative approach, you will be keen to support your colleagues to create and deliver their messages through smart and effective activity.

You should have the ability to lead in both digital and traditional communication channels for effective promotion, engagement and buy in.
