RM Recruit are working with a Birmingham based Not for Profit to recruit an Interim Head of Finance for their team.

Covering a period of c6 Months, this role will see you play a key role in the day to day operations of a busy finance function.

Your remit will include, but not be limited to:

Management of the Finance Team (5 staff) including review of work and appraisals
Via delegation, managing the accounts receivable, credit control, accounts payable, payroll and cashiering processes.
Production of statutory accounts/returns and leading on relationship with external auditors.
Resolving VAT queries and acting as the goto for VAT advice
Management of cash and bank balances and overall cash flow.
Monitoring of income, ensuring that the organisation collects all of its entitles income
Timely, relevant and accurate reporting to the Board on all aspects of financial performance
Preparation of management accounts for QAC and QACE.
Preparation of cash flow forecasts.
Provision of financial and commercial business partnering to budget holders on financerelated matters.
Leading on the preparation of detailed annual budgets in collaboration with budget holders and the Finance Director
Supporting the Finance Director in developing the medium term financial plan.
Deputising for Finance Director as required
