We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our Science Department.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for biology and the ability to inspire and engage students in the subject.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality biology lessons, preparing students for exams, and contributing to the overall academic success of the college.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging biology lessons to students at various levels.
Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to facilitate active learning.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and promote interdisciplinary learning.
Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
A degree in Biology or a related field.
Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
Experience teaching biology at the secondary or college level.
Strong knowledge of the biology curriculum and exam requirements.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the broader life of the college.
