Operations Manager


This role would sit across three successful and growing businesses, that are now in need of an Operations Manager who can aid this continued growth.

Reporting directly into the Managing Director, the role offers great exposure within all three business andis a great opportunity for someone who is hard working and ambitious.

Responsibilities/ Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with the team across numerous functions to improve the overall operational performance of non-sales related activity.
  • Manage all supplier partner relationships including IT systems, CRM, Linked In, Job boards, facilities management etc.
  • Review and manage contracts from a commercial, programme, legal and technical perspective with clients and third parties, ensuring best value for the business is achieved.
  • Support the business to deliver peoplerelated processes, vision and strategy across the organisation, aligned with the company values and objectives.
  • Manage HR related activities including contracts, onboarding etc.
  • Manage the IT function across the business (with the support of internal and external resource) to ensure that the sales function is able to run efficiently.
  • Managing project work on an adhoc basis.
  • Work with a high level of exposure to problem solving, addressing operational challenges in an efficient and robust manner.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Well organised and disciplined individual with a passion for operational excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with good eye for detail, work ethic and highly driven team player
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships and build a rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to review and summarise key aspects from legal contracts into concise reports
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to understand how best value can be achieved in all undertakings.
