Job summary:

This role lies within the wider Organisational Development (OD) team and will be focused on supporting training activities.

The role involves administering and supporting the delivery of Ofsted's training activities, ensuring work is of a consistent high quality.

The role includes responding to customer queries and providing high quality customer service.


The Apprenticeship:

You will undertake a fully funded Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification in Business Administration.

Over the 18-24 months of the apprenticeship-training programme, you will develop skills and knowledge that will support you in a wide range of duties.


Over the duration of your apprenticeship, you will spend a minimum of 20% (1 working day) of your time at work completing off-the-job learning.


When you start the apprenticeship, you will be allocated a tutor to help you make the most of the training programme.

The key responsibilities of the role are outlined below. However, this is an overview of the role and is not exhaustive. Ofsted reserves the right to assign other duties appropriate to the

  • To provide project support for all aspects of Ofsted's training programmes, including supporting training events.
  • To support the daytoday management of team mailboxes and provide support to users ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • To provide administrative support to the team. This can include a range of activities including printing training material, updating spreadsheets and responding to customer queries.
  • To manage queries about development options and activities, providing advice and deciding courses of action helpfully and professionally.

  • Ability to provide administrative support, following set processes and procedures and delivering to targets.
