We have a fantastic opportunity for
two permanent Cleaners to join our Northampton Schools account in

Northampton Greenfields Primary:
Highfield Road, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN15 6HY. This role is based on-site.


The salary is £10.90 per hour.


Amey delivers facilities and estate management services to the Northampton Schools Private Finance Initiative across an estate of 42 schools (five secondary and 37 primary).

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

You will be responsible for:


  • Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
  • Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
  • Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
  • Ensuring a highquality service is provided to the building users at all times
  • This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract

Ideally you will have experience in using chemicals and machinery safely.

In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have experience in cleaning large buildings and sites to help you hit the ground running, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required training
