International Membership Organisation

Home Based/Remote - UK Wide with Travel in UK and International

Basic Salary £60,000-65,000 plus


OTE:
£75,000-£80,000 dependant on experience plus benefits including pension scheme, life assurance, discretionary annual bonus, flexible and dynamic working environment and a chance to travel around world to attendindustry events.

My client an international membership organisation is looking for Head of Sales and Membership Engagement


The Role of Head of Sales and Membership Engagement
This is a remote role for a senior Sales and Membership Engagement specialist.

Your focus will be on the generation of revenue from all the association's products and services. This includes training courses, business intelligence, events and sponsorship and membership subscriptions.

Membership recruitment, membership upgrades and membership retention are therefore also key elements of the role.

This role is part of the senior management team and will report directly into the CEO.


You will be responsible for developing and delivering high quality services and support to our diverse range of members that positively influence their experience with the Association.

Your focus will be on increasing membership as well as the account management of existing members. This will be done through implementing and delivering a membership engagement strategy, coordinating recruitment campaigns, and promoting the association'sservices.


You will work closely with the team to maximise membership opportunities, acting as a point of contact on all membership matters both internally for all staff and externally for members.


You will be responsible for selling our products and services to both members and non-member companies, owning, and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territories and accounts.


This will involve developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve sales targets, expanding our customer base, building, and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.


You will have responsibility for our international sales agents and membership engagement executives ensuring your whole team are fully informed of opportunities, prospects and leads.


You will work with the senior management team to establish key objectives and activities in order to deliver annual targets.

You will also support the Head of Knowledge in managing global engaged partner relationships.

The Person

Essential
BSc degree.

Strong experience working in Membership within a Professional Institute or Trade Association

A proven track record of recruiting and retaining members and developing member services

Excellent knowledge of MS Office package including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent time management and organization skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Desirable
Good knowledge of a second language.
