    Kitchen Stewards are responsible for maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation within a restaurant's kitchen.

    We are looking for a steward who will work well within a dynamic and fast paced kitchen, handling the preparation and order of service.

    To ensure that all equipment for shift operations (including china, cutlery, pot wash and glass wash) are in compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures.

    The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor
    Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives and equipment using proper chemicals and products
    Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing
    Ensure compliance with food handling, sanitation, health and safety standards and regulations
    Inspect food holding and transport equipment and maintains in working order
    Know and enforces proper use and cleaning of all dish room machinery
    Enforce proper breakdown procedures for banquets, restaurants, room service and associate cafeteria
    Attend training for COSHH (Care of Substances Hazardous to Health)
    Comply with Marriott International Hotels Limited policies and procedures
    Carry out any other duty/function that may be assigned by the immediate manager
    Comply with Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and procedures
