About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Surrey Fire and Rescue Service to join us as a

Whilst primarily based in Reigate, you may be required to travel around the County to meet the demands of this role.

Driver trainers will work a 36-hour week, usually within normal office hours.

However, there will be occasions when driving instruction and assessments will need to be carried out in the evenings or at weekends with compensatory time off during the week.

There is a requirement to deliver driver training during the hours of darkness. A minimum of four weekends per year will need to be available for work. Therefore, a flexible attitude and approach to working hours, and the requirements of training, is essential.
