Committed to excellence, we are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Stores Operator to join our dynamic team.


1. Responsibilities:


Inventory Management:


  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Order Fulfillment:


  • Process requests for materials, tools, or other items from various departments.
  • Prepare and package items for shipment or delivery.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to production areas.

Quality Control:


  • Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Report and document any damaged or nonconforming items.
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance to address any quality issues.

Organization and Cleanliness:


  • Maintain a wellorganized and clean stores area.
  • Implement and adhere to the company's 5S principles.

Communication:


  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality assurance teams to meet operational requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

2. Requirements:


Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing stores role.
  • Familiarity with electronic manufacturing processes is highly desirable.

Attention to Detail:


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Ability to identify and address discrepancies promptly.

Organizational Skills:


  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with inventory tracking software is a plus.

Team Player:


  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.

Adaptability:


  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.

Communication Skills:


  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Safety Conscious:


  • Adherence to safety guidelines and protocols in the handling and storage of materials.

Education:


  • National 5 or equivalent. Additional relevant certifications or training in stores management is a plus.

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent


Salary:

From £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
