    Early Years Leader at Ultimate Holiday Camps - LVS, Ascot

    Salary: Inclusive of Holiday Pay, based on a 9.5-hour day. Pay is calculated based on age, experience, and qualifications.

    The Job Details

    • Reporting to: Camp Manager
    • Contract: Seasonal work during school holidays
    • Hours: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm on weekdays. Full season or part-time roles available

    Summary of the Role

    As our Early Years Leader, you will oversee the Early Years program at the camp, creating an exciting and nurturing environment. You will lead activities and games for children aged four and five, following EYFS guidelines for learning and development.

    Working closely with the Camp Manager, you will be the main contact for young campers, ensuring their welfare and meeting all Ofsted requirements. Your role also involves coordinating the Early Years team to provide top-quality childcare.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Organize engaging activities for young campers, meeting EYFS standards
    • Lead sports, arts & crafts, and games for four- and five-year-olds
    • Manage the Early Years team
    • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and communicate with parents
    • Handle administrative tasks for the children
    • Promote child welfare alongside the Camp Manager
    • Supervise children outside of scheduled activities
    • Deliver high-quality childcare tailored to individual needs
    • Uphold company standards and act as a positive role model
    • Follow camp policies, including health & safety procedures
    • Perform additional duties as required

    Requirements

    • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education
    • Experience working with young children and delivering age-appropriate activities
    • Passion for child development through play and activity
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage
    • Excellent face-to-face customer service skills
    • Team player willing to handle challenges in a childcare setting
    • Seeking a rewarding job in childcare during holidays

    Desired Skills

    • Previous management or supervisory experience
    • Experience supervising a group of children independently
    • Paediatric First Aid qualification
