    Senior Process Engineer (Industrial Biotechnology)

    Abercorn Sinclair presents this fantastic opportunity with MiAlgae, located in Edinburgh, a company committed to advancing science and technology to enhance food security and minimize the impact on the environment. MiAlgae's innovative approach aims to replace wild-caught fish as a source of omega-3 with sustainable microalgae. By recycling co-products, MiAlgae grows Omega-3-rich micro-algae, contributing to a cleaner environment.

    About the Role:

    • Collaborate with various departments to scale up processes.
    • Provide process engineering input throughout different project stages.
    • Engage with a diverse group of professionals to ensure project success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, construct, and commission Phase 2 production site.
    • Lead process development and optimization.
    • Collaborate with contractors and partners.
    • Drive new process technology and support operations.

    Experience and Skills:

    • Manage multi-disciplinary projects effectively.
    • Optimize plant and process operations.
    • Develop engineering packages and ensure safety.
    • Demonstrate expertise in plant design and capital projects.
    • Possess strong practical process engineering skills.
    • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
    • Work independently and in a team.
