    Description

    Locum Consultant Ent with interest in Otology and Paediatric ENT Applications are invited for a Consultant in ENT Surgery to join a team of consultants in the Ear, Nose and Throat department at the Royal London Hospital.

    75 PAs appointment this post includes general adult/paeds ENT and otology in this tertiary referral center.

    Consultants will undertake administrative duties associated with the care of their patients and the running of their clinics or department.

    All Consultants are expected to assume responsibility both singly and corporately for the management of the Junior Medical Staff.

    In particular, they are expected to be responsible for approving and monitoring junior staff rotas and junior staff locum arrangements, where appropriate.

    The successful applicant will be expected to participate fully in the medical audit arrangements in the District.

    Higher degree - BSc MS MD PhD

    T. skills and computer literacy
    Evidence of fellowship level Paediatric and/ or Adult Otology training.
    Competency in Paediatric ENT surgery
    Broad based general professional training in general medicine

    Training and Teaching
    Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates and junior medical staff

    Training the Trainers Course or equivalent Teaching and Assessment in Practice Course or equivalent
