As a Barclays Global Trade Services Product Management Lead in you will have end to end ownership of a wider Trade & Working Capital Product Management team who are collectively responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of TWC Product strategy globally.

This opportunity will allow you to gain exposure in originating business from some of the largest multinational companies, pitching, delivering complex innovative trade finance solutions from documentary trade facilities, receivables, and supplier finance, and ECA financing.

What will you be doing?:


  • Defining the client experience, digital and innovation strategy, driving the revenue for the business and overseeing the risk & control framework
  • Providing product advice and guidance to sales staff and other internal stakeholders
  • Combining client insight with a knowledge of financial, risk and operational of the product to recommend propositions that solve client problems
  • Building long term and sustainable relationship with clients based on trust
  • Managing relationships with partners in delivery, support and oversight functions and demonstrate collaboration at all levels
  • Obtaining detailed client requirements to fulfill them confidently
  • Delivering exceptional client pitches including solid recommendations which will minimize inherent risks
  • Communicating complex concepts and products to internal & external stakeholders of all levels

What we're looking for:


  • Excellent interactive and influencing skills are essential to the role, as well as the ability to work as part of a team
  • A proactive, motivated approach
  • Logical and structured approach to achieving desired outcomes along with good written and oral communication with ability to communicate across all levels
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering projects and/or initiatives

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Solid decision-making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgement and lead discussions
  • Exceptional rapport building skills and ability to collaborate with other teams
  • Intermediate / advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office package

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.

With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
