    Description
    Head of Machine Learning | Deep Learning | London | Remote

    We are collaborating with a pioneering technology firm headquartered in London, specialising in harnessing the capabilities of machine learning and artificial intelligence to catalyse advancements in the automotive and aviation sectors.

    You will provide strategic direction and oversight, guiding the team in the development, implementation, and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning models.

    As a pivotal figure in their research and development endeavours, you will drive the design, implementation, and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning models with tangible real-world impacts.

    You will spearhead projects across diverse domains such as natural language processing, computer vision, and beyond, working closely with cross-functional teams to tackle intricate challenges.

    • Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and product managers to comprehend requirements and translate them into scalable machine learning solutions.
    • Oversee the implementation and optimisation of machine learning algorithms and models, utilising Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Sci-kit Learn.
    • Conduct rigorous experiments, analyse outcomes, and iterate on models to enhance performance and accuracy continually.
    • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in deep learning research, integrating pertinent techniques into our projects.
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying deep learning models, with a profound understanding of neural networks and their architectures.
    • Proficiency in Python programming language and hands-on experience with relevant libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Sci-kit Learn, and Keras.
    • Robust comprehension of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks.
    • Familiarity with machine learning best practices encompassing data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and deployment.
    • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
    • Previous experience with computer vision and image processing techniques.
    • AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and a track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments.
    • Contributions to open-source projects or publications in pertinent conferences or journals.
