Job description

The mission for the Head of Production is to manage all day-to-day operations of the Production department, across pre-production, post-production and videography.

They should be completely comfortable managing multiple projects and multiple people, being the vanguard of quality, a constant source of great social creative ideas and a leader capable of developing a young, talented team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daytoday operations for the social content production unit
Be accountable for hitting all internal and external deadlines for content production
Be the vanguard of quality for all content production
Lead a growing business unit in line with KOMI's culture and values, providing clear development paths for a young, talented team
Work closely with the Head of Agency to drive up quality across the board within content production
Project manage multiple content projects across pre, shooting and post, providing a calm and consistent working environment and hitting all delivery deadlines
Ensure the team is resourced correctly to deliver against all requirements and play a key role in resource planning for future growth.
Be at the forefront of social creative; with the ability to excite teams internally and external clients with great content ideas for social
Manage production budgets and time allocations.
Own the production pipeline ensuring timely and accurate briefing for production teams
Create, own and oversee all production Critical Paths, managing risk and highlighting issues ahead of time
Ensure that all production related admin is completed to a high standard
Be the first point of contact for all production related queries

Proven track record as a leader in a content production unit, ideally specialising in social and digital content
Provable knowledge and experience project managing multiple content productions
Management experience, ideally within a fastpaced, scaling business
Demonstrable knowledge of what great social content looks like, and how to create it
