Harte Consulting has a superb opportunity for a Plot Progressor to join a leading Yorkshire Developer who are experts in their field of designing, building, and selling New Homes across the region.


With a strong and healthy pipeline, this Plot Progressor role will suit someone who may want to transfer their sales progression knowledge and experience from a traditional Estate Agency background over to a thriving Developer who value their people and their customers journey over unit volume and who are an extremely collaborative bunch of people.


The Plot Progressor will act as a support system to The Sales Director, Sales Managers and Sales Executives by becoming involved in a range of work to enable the department to respond effectively to the requirements of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Support Sales Executives with the progress of New Build Sales from Reservation to Legal Completion, maintaining weekly contact & sale notes until the exchange of contracts is achieved.
  • Work closely alongside the Part Exchange Manager & Sales Managers to ensure all aspects of the Sale Off, Buyin & Plot Purchase run cohesively to ensure targeted exchange & completion dates are met.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the company solicitors to share updates on the New Build Sales progress & refocus/prioritise outstanding issues to achieve the exchange/Legal Completion deadline.
  • Arrange Supplemental Agreement Documents, Licenses to Occupy & Fix Dates for Legal Completion.
  • Arranging contracts and legal documents
  • Collating weekly sales progression spreadsheets from the site and distributing them to management.
  • Ensure target deadlines for exchange dates are met.
  • Attend regular meetings with the recommended panel solicitors and IFA's.
  • Management Admin Support to Sales Director and management team
  • Compiling Expected Legal Completions for new build and part exchange weekly and monthly.
  • Producing Sales Releases for signing monthly
  • Producing Selling Price Monitors for signing monthly
  • Completion statements
  • Overview of the week report for both PX and new build and distribute.

The Person

  • Be available to work between the hours of 8.30am & 5pm Monday to Friday & additional hours as & when needed in order to support The Sales Director as well as the whole business during high levels of Sales & Legal Completions.
  • Be Computer Literate on all systems.
  • Have Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Have excellent numeric skills.
  • Be methodical & highly organised.
  • Be able to work well under pressure & effectively manage your own workload.
