  • This role will predominantly support teaching on the Postgraduate Engineer Degree Apprenticeship programme (Uxbridge Campus) and the MSc Engineering Design course (High Wycombe/Aylesbury Campus)
  • Teaching may also be required for undergraduate students and apprentices at our High Wycombe and Aylesbury campuses as required

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:
Associate Lecturer in Engineering
School/Directorate: School of Engineering and the Built Environment
Location: Uxbridge with occasional teaching at High Wycombe and Aylesbury as required
Hours: Part time - as per schedule
Responsible to: Head of School for Engineering and the Built Environment
Job Purpose:

  • This role will predominantly support teaching on the Postgraduate Engineer Degree Apprenticeship programme (Uxbridge Campus) and the MSc Engineering Design course (High Wycombe/Aylesbury Campus)
  • The Postgraduate Engineer apprenticeship programme will deliver learning aligned to a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering qualification (PGDip)
  • Teaching will be focused in the following Engineering areas; Project Management and Research Skills, Product Development for Business, Contemporary Methods in Engineering Design and Manufacturing Automation, Robotics and Internet of Things
  • Teaching may also be required for undergraduate students and apprentices at our High Wycombe and Aylesbury campuses as required
  • Associate lecturers will adopt a learnercentred approach and being committed to contributing towards delivery of a firstclass student experience

  • With support, design and deliver high quality, innovative and challenging learning experiences, using current theory and practice together in lively debate.
