Bennett and Game are currently representing a well-established grounds maintenance company, who are actively seeking an ambitious Senior Ecologist to join their ever-growing team.
Since establishing back in 1973, our client has grown rapidly and now provides a variety of service to clients throughout the whole of the UK.
Our client pride themselves on the quality of their services they offer, whilst prioritising both of their clients and employee's needs, wellbeing and aspirations throughout the whole process.
Their ethos also revolves around the sustainability of a project, putting this at the forefront of every project.The successful Senior Ecologist will work closely alongside the head of Ecology, assisting Habitat Classification surveys and supporting junior members of staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Ecologist to join an employee focused company, who offer extensive career progression opportunities and exposure to a variety of projects.
Senior Ecologist Position Remuneration~ Competitive salary, ranging between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

~ Senior Ecologist Position Overview
Undertaking UK Habitat Classification Surveys, (licenced) protected species surveys
Building tenders and creating complex fee quotations at speed
Managing medium to large sized projects with ability to track financial progress
Line management of junior ecologists
Senior Ecologist Position Requirements
~Relevant bachelor's degree
~ Hold a full UK driving license
~ Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the understanding of how to apply them correctly
~ Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (ideally Associate), is preferred
