Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Azure - Fully remote up to £70,000
We are working with a truly inspirational organisation, recognised Globally for their work which impacts upon millions of people.


They are looking to a skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer to work with them to help migrate from on-prem to Azure, enabling them to leverage the benefits of Azure.

This includes PAAS and automation to remove the burden on technical teams as they move moreinto DevOps.

You will take responsibility for their Azure environments, including monitoring, patching, maintenance, and support.

You will also maintain resilience of cloud services - ensuring adequate disaster recovery / business continuity provision including designand testing.


Some of the key skills and experience required:

  • A proven record of successful migration from traditional on-premise IT infrastructure to Azure
  • You will be able to show a deep knowledge of managing network traffic, subscriptions, accounts, users, groups, and billing within Azure
  • Using your knowledge of the Azure platform
  • IaaS / PaaS / SaaS you will be able to review existing Azure environments and align to best practice
  • You will have demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft identity management
  • Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Azure AD Connect
  • Excellent PowerShell scripting skills for monitoring and tasks automation
  • An excellent understanding of CI/CD using technologies, such as Ansible, Jenkins, Travis, Octopus, and Terraform and a deep understanding of Azure Services such as App Service, API Management, Event Hub, Service Bus, Azure Spring Cloud, Key Vault, and AzureMonitor is required
  • You will have a good understanding of load balancers, DNS, virtual networks, and firewalls in Azure environments.
  • One or more relevant Microsoft Azure certifications are required
  • You will be able to show proven experience managing the implementation of large complex cloud and hybrid enterprise solutions, including configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Azurebased production systems using the Azure portal, Cloud Shell, AzurePowerShell, CLI, and ARM templates.
  • Significant experience using infrastructure as a code tools and instilling a culture of automation including creating and scaling virtual machines.
  • Creating and reviewing High Level Designs (HLD's) and Low-Level Designs (LLD's).
