Description
We are looking for an experienced Content Writer at manager level to join our expanding Marketing Team.


You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of our external marketing communications content - encompassing both online and offline communications, ensuring it is consistently effective, engaging and aligned to our brand/tone of voice.


The role:


The role is varied, with involvement in content across nine core business sectors (National Practice Groups), which include private wealth, entrepreneurs, land and rural, sports and entertainment, real estate, international, professional practices, recruitment (sector), and not-for-profit.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all copy follows editorial guidelines, including tone of voice.
  • Creating original engaging, clientcentric content for print and online, including sectorbased thought leadership and insights (both B2B and B2C).
  • Working closely with digital colleagues to optimise and shape content for search visibility based on key SEO terms.
  • Reviewing and updating website copy to ensure it is compelling, engaging, provides an appropriate call to action and encapsulates relevant messaging.
  • Creation of digital and offline advertising content as required, including profiles for sponsorships and print ads.
  • Liaison with our People Experience Team to ensure consistency and quality of careersrelated externalfacing content and alignment with EVP strategy.
  • Working strategically with National Practice Groups to create and update client personas to drive business developmentfocused content creation.
  • Liaising with business plan working groups as required (client service, responsible business, people and chosen markets) to effectively communicate our strategy and approach to key external audiences.
  • Working with partners to cocreate and proactively manage sectorfocused social media updates and blog posts.
  • Working with external agencies and partners (ie our retained PR agency) on external communications and contentled projects.

The team:


This role will sit within the marketing department, which has in total 16 people and delivers a wide range of marketing and business development advice to the firm.

This person will report into the Head of Marketing.


You:


  • 5+ years' experience as a journalist, editor, or marketing content creator, working across a range of formats and channels.
  • A university degree with a focus in either marketing, communications, or journalism.
  • Professional services experiences would be desirable but is not essential.
  • Excellent creative writing and communication skills.
  • Superb attention to detail and a strong, flexible writing style.
  • A strong collaborator, able to build rapport and work closely with stakeholders across the firm, to become a trusted partner in delivering successful contentled marketing projects.
  • Beneficial skills and experience: website SEO, social media, public relations.

  • A 35hour working week with flexibility around the core hours of 10am4pm
