    Description

    A growing Lloyds Syndicate are looking for a Risk Manager to join their growing Risk Management team in which plays a critical role in guiding the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework to address evolving risk landscapes and ensure consistent risk mitigation throughout the organisation.

    Responsibilities include overseeing the Risk Appetite framework, managing Risk and Control Self-Assessment processes, contributing to strategic alterations, executing Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA), and leading internal model validation.

    As a Risk Manager, your main tasks involve collaborating with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to enhance the ERM Framework, refine risk registers, monitor adherence to risk appetite frameworks, and coordinate stress and scenario tests.

    You'll also assist in the annual review of ERM frameworks, enhance approaches to emerging risks, provide inputs for internal and regulatory reports, collaborate with business units to identify new risks, and work closely with Internal Audit and Compliance teams.

    Other responsibilities include providing training on risk management frameworks, acting as a deputy for the CRO when necessary, and contributing to a culture of risk awareness.

    Key qualifications include a minimum of 5 years' experience in insurance risk management, proficiency in stress testing, familiarity with Internal Model requirements, ability to work effectively in small teams, and strong interpersonal skills
