Salary guidelines are £90,000-125,000 depending on experience. (IOM tax at 10-20% so higher take home if relocating)

We are looking for an MLRO to join our leading client on insurance based wealth solutions. Our client operates across the UK, Asia, Europe and Latin America.


The role would be situated in the Isle of Man and you will act as the designated MLRO for the IOM regulated entities.

You will be responsible for assessing, setting and documenting the risk-based approach to the management and control of financial crime risks across all businesses and communicating this to the key stakeholders.


You will carry out 2nd line financial crime activities and support the Head of Compliance and Chief Risk Officer in providing 2nd line oversight and advise in relation to financial crime matters.


  • Commercial acumen and be able to evidence good understanding of business strategy.
  • Strong understanding of the financial crime field across industry. If you don't come from a life co background then strong financial services in a previous regulated role. (you must currently or previously have held an MLRO position)
  • Stakeholder management with good influencing skills.
  • Hold formal qualifications in compliance &/or financial crime.
  • Good technical knowledge of Compliance, Regulatory and legislative requirements (IOM, UK, EU and Singapore)

Pay:
£90,000.00-£125,000.00 per year
