    Job Specification:Accounts Assistant Manager

    Iam representing a fabulous firm of accountants in theHalesowen/Bromsgrove area who are looking to add an experiencedAccounts Assistant Manager to their dynamic team. This role isideal for a professional who is ready to take a step intomanagement while continuing to perform handson accounting tasksfrom start tofinish.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Reportingdirectly to the directors and collaborating closely with seniormanagement.
    • Preparing accounts fromstart to finish for a diverse portfolio ofclients.
    • Providing mentorship andsupport to junior members of staff ensuring their development andperformance align with the firm sstandards.
    • Ensuring compliance withaccounting standards andpractices.
    • Utilizing accountingsoftware systems such as Sage Xero QuickBooks and IRIS effectivelyto manage client accounts.
    • Assistingin the preparation of financial statements and taxcomputations.
    • Participating inclient meetings to provide financial insights andadvice.
    • Contributing to thecontinuous improvement of internal processes andsystems.


    Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Fullyqualified or nearing completion of ACCA orCIMA.
    • A strong background inpractice accounting isessential.
    • Proficiency in accountingsoftware particularly Sage Xero QuickBooks andIRIS.
    • Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbal.
    • Strongorganizational skills and the ability to manage multiplepriorities.
    • A proactive approach toproblemsolving and continuousimprovement.

    IdealCandidate:

    • Hasdemonstrated experience in a similar role within an accountingpractice.
    • Exhibits leadershipqualities and is eager to step into a managerialrole.
    • Is detailoriented with a highlevel of accuracy in their work.
    • Iscommitted to professional development and staying uptodate withindustrychanges.

    A qualification in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of experience inaccounting or finance Strong knowledge of accounting principles andregulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software Ability towork independently and manage multiple tasks Attention to detailand accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Abilityto work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
