    As a newly qualified nurse at HC-One, you will be supported to grow inyour career with our Gold Standard Nursing Preceptorship Programme,helping you to build on your existing skillset while practicing in anurse-led environment. You will make a difference to ourresidents at a time of their life when they may feel the mostvulnerable, and they will look to you to guide and support them inlife-changing decisions, which is a humbling and unbelievablyrewarding part of the role. About you You will be aRegistered Nurse with a valid Pin number and will understand yourcommitment to your profession through the standards of practice set bythe NMC. You will have a passion to mentor and share yourknowledge with your colleagues, along with providing support as apractice supervisor and assessor to students. You will understand theimportance of effective communication, both verbally and written, androle model professional behaviours. You will advocate anddeliver a person-centred approach to care for the people living in ourcare home and their families. Safeguarding is everyone'sresponsibility and therefore it is important that you are able torecognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglectin its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns.
    All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding trainingappropriate to their role and to undertake additional training inassociated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate adviceand report concerns, including escalation if action is nottaken.
