    Position: Data Centre Solutions Engineer

    Reporting To: Head of IT Infrastructure Engineering

    Location: Remote, UK

    Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

    Start Date: ASAP

    Key Requirements as Data Centre Solutions Engineer:

    • Expertise and hands-on experience in delivering data centre services and solutions within both traditional Datacenter and Hybrid Cloud environments.
    • Proficient in Netapp, Cisco UCS, Flexpod, F5, and Cisco Nexus.
    • Familiarity and experience with VMware versions 6.5, 6.7, and migration/upgrade to 7.x, including desirable expertise in VM application workload migration.
    • Preferred certifications from Netapp, UCS, Cisco, and F5.
    • Specialized in Netapp Storage and UCS engineering.
    • Competency in Netapp Storage replication, snapshots, data resilience, and providing Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) services across data centres.
    • Cisco UCS experience in Fabric, Blade chassis, M5 Blades, capacity planning, and adherence to operational best practices.
    • Proficient in F5 load balancers, with a desirable skill set in Terraform automation.
    • Experienced in customer consulting, encompassing requirements gathering and validation, project cost estimation, solution development (LLD, HLD), environment documentation, and delivery transition.
    • Capable of providing solution designs within established engineering standards.
    • Translates business requirements into standardized solutions, contributing to technology roadmaps and supporting standards and strategy roadmaps.
    • Offers 3rd and 4th level engineering support for the technical domain.
    • Skilled in working within a highly matrixed environment, across multiple time zones.
    • A team player and self-starter.
    • Experience in managing the service lifecycle.
    • Familiarity with Service Now, Jira, and Kanban (Desirable).
    • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
