    We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Garden Designer / Landscape Architect to join our innovative and ambitious team at Andy Stedman Design Ltd. Based in Chichester, West Sussex, our company is committed to delivering exceptional landscape and garden design services for private clients and prestigious developments.

    As a Senior Designer / Architect, you will play a key role in creating beautiful and compelling designs that satisfy a range of clients. You will have the opportunity to manage designs from start to finish, ensuring a prompt and efficient sales cycle. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of processes and techniques alongside our collaborative team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Independently meet clients to take detailed briefs and present designs.
    • Design well-annotated 2D plans using Vectorworks (training can be provided).
    • Build well-presented 3D models using SketchUp (or Vectorworks) and Lumion (preferred but not essential).
    • Work effectively with different teams and attend site visits.
    • Demonstrate enthusiasm and attention to detail in all aspects of the role.
    • Fully qualified and experienced landscape designer, landscape architect, or garden designer.
    • Excellent standards of design and presentation.
    • Proven work experience within similar roles.
    • Good horticultural knowledge.
    • Strong knowledge of construction and materials.
    • Solid organisational skills.
    • Must have a full UK driving license and vehicle (mileage paid for from studio to client meetings, etc.).
    • Must be within driving distance of our studio and willing to travel.
    • Working from our studio is preferred, but flexible hybrid working is available.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Degree/Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design or Garden Design.
    • Strong knowledge and experience of Vectorworks and SketchUp (preferred but not essential as we can provide training).

    This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from £38,000 to £44,000 per annum (DOE). We are looking for someone to join us as soon as possible, so don't hesitate to apply.
