The Governing Body wishes to appoint a full time Head of Science and More Able for a September 2024 start, who will support the school to ensure teaching, learning and planning and assessment are of the highest quality in Science across the school in both key stages.
Permanent/Full Time
Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 pa plus TLR 2.1 £3,214 pa
The post holder will also lead on championing different and distinctive provision for more able pupils, either within the curriculum or as enrichment, working within the NACE framework.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who would love to work in a good school with well-motivated pupils and a strong team of friendly staff. Walton Priory is a popular and growing school and is rated 'good' by Ofsted with 'outstanding' Personal Development.
Walton Priory's Science department is well resourced and the successful candidate will have a budget to improve things even further. Management time will be provided as well as PPA in order to fulfil the role.
