Overview

The Meetings Advisory Team is looking for an
Associate to join them to support all aspects of physical and virtual company shareholder meetings.

Tasks include the registration of shareholders, checking and reviewing meeting notices pre-event, logging and planning client events, providing support and advice to clients on meeting matters, adherence to team procedures and supporting ad hoc projects.


What you'll be doing:


  • Providing help and guidance to clients and advisors on all aspects of premeeting advisory services and set up stage
  • Learning technical and business expertise to support clients with changing market trends, enabling us to provide and sustain enhanced levels of service around all aspects of company meetings
  • Recording details of client events accurately and supporting set up activities for both physical and virtual shareholder meetings
  • Carrying out registration duties and providing help and guidance at shareholder meetings
  • Dealing with client enquiries and ensuring swift resolution of client issues
  • Processing client and supplier invoices and ensuring all client agreements, administrative and management information records are maintained
  • Ensuring compliance with any regulatory or statutory requirements, industry codes and practices, Link Market Services information security and other core policies and standards

What we're looking for:


  • Great communication skills with the confidence and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
  • The enthusiasm, eagerness and proactivity to learn and develop your skills and knowledge
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • The flexibility and willingness to travel to shareholder meetings, primarily in London, but occasional UK travel is required
  • Demonstrable customer service skills with the ability to work in a team environment in addition to working collaboratively with related business areas
  • An interest in studying CISI or other financial services qualifications
