Associate Director of IT

Full time; 37 hours per week

£46, £50,000 per annum

Permanent position

QAC has an ambitious strategic plan - we plan to expand our existing services and develop new ones.

Alongside our growth strategy is a key strategic aim to maintain a robust IT infrastructure and deliver an IT service that meets the demands of the organisation.


You will be responsible for leading and developing QAC's Information and Learning Technology function, ensuring that it develops, supports and keeps pace with the College's ambitious strategic plan.

You will oversee the IT and Resources team and you will also be responsible for leading on IT and Security aspects of QAC Enterprises.


  • You will support the Director of Finance and Resources in ensuring resources, services and contracts are fit for purpose and legally compliant.
  • You will support the Director of Finance and Resources in leading on Data
Management and Data Protection for the College and be QAC's Deputy Data

Protection Officer (DDPO).

  • This role is key in the strategic delivery of ongoing technology developments for QAC and QAC Enterprises Ltd, as well as future QAC satellite site development(s) ensuring compliance with IT security is consistently maintained.
  • This is a College Management Team post and will require you to work College wide and make a significant contribution to effective management of the College. You will lead by example within the QAC Values of Enabling, Collaboration, Respect, Integrity, Excellence and Inclusion.
