Principal Planning Officer

Full Time - 36 hours a week

£45,456 - £56, 493 pa (this salary includes the current marker supplement of £4000 pa)

Headlining our ambitious growth agenda is the Borough's largest residential led mixed use development at Meridian Water where our aspiration is to deliver upwards of 10000 new homes and 6000 jobs.

Alongside new public open spaces, shops, community facilities and a new railway station, this is a key opportunity to shape and deliver a landmark residential scheme within London.

Our ambitions don't end there as we are in discussions on several major regeneration schemes across the Borough including proposals for Enfield Town, Brimsdown, Edmonton and Southgate to deliver new high-quality mixed use residential led development which meets the modern housing and employment needs of our residents

The Role


This is an opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to gain exceptional experience and make a real difference to the future lives of our residents.


You will play a pivotal role in progressing a number of major schemes, delivering high quality development outcomes successfully through the statutory development management process.

Excellent customer focus is essential as is your ability to manage these projects to agreed timescales and quality criteria.

For this role you will need to be confident and effective in dealing with applicants and their agents, Councillors, residents and other key stakeholders.
