Join Our Team as a Fitter at a Leading Manufacturing Organisation in Lincoln

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter seeking a new opportunity to work with Small Gas Turbines? Look no further! Our client in Lincoln is on the lookout for an experienced Fitter to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.

• Work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Team Leaders
• Ensure efficient and accurate stripping of Small Gas Turbines
• Use tooling and measuring equipment to highest standard
• Assess components post-strip for repair work

Package Details

Pay:
£17.67 per hour plus shift allowance
Overtime available at higher rates

Job Location:
Teal Park Road Lincoln, LN6 3AD
Shifts: 6am-2.15pm and 2.15pm-8pm, Monday to Friday

Duration: 3 months initial contract

Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Stripping and building Small Gas Turbines
• Using tooling for high tolerance levels
• Maintaining a clean working area
• Promoting a safe environment
• Flexible to work rotating shifts
• Suggest process improvement ideas

Requirements:

• Previous Fitter experience
• Mechanical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Attention to detail and safety mindset
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
