    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our client based at their impressive site in Telford, this is a full-time, permanent position.

    Working as part of the Building Services Maintenance team we are seeking someone with a comprehensive range of mechanical and electrical skills The primary functions of this role will be to install, maintain and repair a wide range of equipment such as electrical systems, compressed air systems, pumps, air handling units, building management and electrical/ electronic control systems.

    The successful candidate will utilise their experience to act as the lead resource, developing maintenance engineers to improve the provision of planned preventative, routine and emergency maintenance for all plant and equipment services to support the business needs.

    Resolve reactive, planned, preventative and emergency maintenance requests submitted into the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to minimise equipment downtime as required

    • Lead installation work to the required standard, supporting site and process modifications including supplies and services to work equipment. Carry out mechanical/ electrical installation in accordance with relevant regulations
    • Ensure knowledge sharing by capturing and training key learning points to colleagues. Update the CMMS asset history by completion of Works Order information and spares/ repairs requirements. Health and Safety activities such as full and rapid risk assessments of tasks and occasional working under permit to work
    • Actively contribute to company continuous improvement activities including in house systems, Kaizen, applying 5S standards in all areas and ensure all work is complaint with Health and Safety Standards and risk assessments
    Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance engineer is essential and ideally from a high-volume automated manufacturing environment

    • Some experience of fault finding and repairs on HVAC plant, electrical systems, BMS, pneumatic and energy monitoring systems
    • Ideally an HNC in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) with City & Guilds 2800 Level 3 or equivalent (Maintenance Engineering) and City & Guilds IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
    08:1- 17:00 Monday - Thursday and 08:1- 12:15 Friday
