Accounts Assistant (part-time)

Location:
Havant


Job Type:
Part-time, permanent, no weekends
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 9:30am 6:00pm

Schedule: 3 days per week

Accounts Assistant The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team.

The role will be to provide support to the Accounts Team with the order and despatch process, liaising with internal and external customers whilst delivering an outstanding customer service.


Accounts Assistant Key Responsibilities:


  • Liaising with the sales departments for order processing
  • Responsible for reconciling card and cash payments daily for all branches
  • Ensure all sales orders received are checked before despatch
  • Liaising with the Warehouse Department to ensure orders are despatched smoothly
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing post
  • Dealing with customer queries or requests over the phone
  • Manage and maintain the despatch shared inbox
  • Generation of invoices via our SAP software
  • General administrative support
  • Liaising with credit control regarding overdue accounts.
  • Ensuring that all deadlines are met within set timeframes

Accounts Assistant Your skills and experience:

  • Experience with SAP desirable but not essential
  • Strong analytical, comprehension and problemsolving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines with pace and accuracy
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
